Special Compensator
The company crowns its superior experience in compensator manufacturing with special compensator projects designed and produced for the pipelines of power generation cycles and electricity generation plants. A common feature of many power generation plants is the conversion of thermal energy into electrical energy, and specially manufactured pressure-balanced compensators are used to absorb the expansions in the pipelines through which the fluid carrying the thermal energy is conveyed. Pressure-balanced compensators are systems that eliminate the pushing force caused by internal pressure, preventing the transmission of additional forces to fixed points. Pressure-balanced compensators are generally used where the pipeline changes direction (elbow type), but linear types are also available. The use of pressure-balanced compensators allows for the damping of combined (axial, lateral, angular) movements at the points where the pipelines change direction without the need for additional fixed points. Features: A wide variety of bellows designs are possible for fluids and steam. High pressure and full vacuum applications. Combined axial, lateral, and angular movements. Diameters: DN15-DN5000. Design Pressure: Up to 150 Bar (depending on diameter and operating conditions). Design Temperature: Up to 400 °C (depending on material type). Manufacturing area has a 16-ton crane system. Manufacturing: Compensators are components of pressure vessels and piping systems. Therefore, their manufacturing can be done in accordance with the European Pressure Vessel Directive (PED 2014/68/EU) and the American national piping process ASME B 31.3. All raw materials (pipes, flanges, caps, limit rods, etc.) used in compensator manufacturing are checked with stress analysis software, and materials and wall thicknesses conforming to allowable stress values are used. Non-Destructive Testing: In addition to hydrostatic pressure and vacuum tests, all welds used in compensator manufacturing undergo non-destructive testing at our manufacturing facility by TÜV-accredited third-party inspectors. This includes 100% PT penetrant testing (EN3452-1, EN23277), 100% MT magnetic particle testing (EN17638), 100% VT visual inspection for corner welds, 100% RT radiographic inspection (EN ISO 10675-1, EN 17636), and 100% UT ultrasonic inspection (EN 17640, EN 11666).

Contractions and expansions due to temperature changes in the column lines of heating and hot water installations in today's widespread multi-story buildings cause pipe bending, noise, joint breakage, and thread stripping. Advantages of Pipe Expansion Joints: - Prevent expansion, noise, and strain in column pipes. - Saves energy by eliminating pressure loss. - Reduces labor costs due to the simple and short preparation and installation time. - Easily used in rooms, halls, offices, and visible column lines. They have an aesthetic appearance. 90°C/70°C heating installation columns expand approximately 3 mm per floor. The expansion in the column line of a 7-storey (21 m) building can be taken with elbows on the vent and main line collection. Pipe Expansion Joints, which are mandatory in the column lines of buildings higher than 7 floors, must be used at most every 30 meters (every 10 floors). - The maximum distance between two fixed points is 30 m. Pipe Expansion Joints are mounted on the floor between two fixed points, close to the ceiling. Cardan Joint Seismic Compensator (FM Approved) Expansion-Seismic Compensator (Cardan joint type) protects the system by absorbing movements in all directions (circular movements in the X, Y, and Z directions) such as earthquakes and subsidence, damping all types of movement in pipelines. Thanks to its flexible and movable structure, it relieves stress in rigid pipe systems. This type of compensator, which contains two bellows, absorbs axial movements, lateral deflections, and angular rotation. Due to being an FM-approved product, it has an absolute application area in expansion joints in fire circuits. Design and production are made according to "EJMA" standards. Pressure and temperature values comply with DIN2401 standards. Thanks to the bellows and cardan joints on both sides, it has the ability to dampen all types of movement. Cardan Joint Seismic Compensators dampen standard 100, 200, 300, and 400mm lateral movements, but special productions are possible for other desired expansion values. They protect the system by eliminating problems such as stress and rupture in pipelines due to their flexible structure, in contrast to the rigid pipe structure, during building settlements and movements. These compensators, containing two bellows, absorb axial movements, lateral deflections, and angular rotation. Limit Rod Type Expansion Compensators can absorb standard lateral movements of 50, 100, 150, and 200 mm, but custom production is possible for other desired expansion values. In these compensators, the intermediate part is stabilized using control rods. Material Structure: Stainless steel according to DIN17440; connection parts can be produced in stainless steel or carbon steel. Design and production are carried out according to "EJMA" standards.
