ABB M2JA Series Flameproof Motors are based on ABB's state-of-the-art production technologies and are based on Finnish flameproof motors. These motors are designed in full compliance with international standards IEC60079-0:1998 and IEC60079-1:1990, as well as Chinese standards GB3836.1-2000 and GB3836.2-2000. Available in frame sizes 80-355, the M2JA series was developed specifically for use in the petroleum and chemical industries, covering temperature classes T1-T4. Equipped with Exd II CT4 explosion protection, these motors are ideal for hazardous environments where explosive mixtures such as hydrogen, acetylene, water gas, etc. are present.

The M2JA series motors meet the most stringent performance requirements for explosion-proof motors, upgrading their production technology and capabilities. Like the domestically produced dII C series motors, the M2JA series is the first of its kind in the country to offer explosion-proof motors. Complying with similar ABB products and European standards, the M2JA series is superior to the domestically produced YB2 series flame-proof motors in terms of technology and electrical specifications.

During the development process, ABB's flame-resistant motors and a full set of technical drawings were integrated with the terminal epoxy encapsulation process and materials. This positioned the M2JA series motors as core ABB-like products that meet European standards for key electric motor performance indicators such as efficiency and power factor.
