Float Steam Trap Working Principle
The float steam trap has a mechanism that allows the condensed steam (condensate) to be discharged automatically. The float inside the steam trap rises and falls depending on the amount of condensate. The float movement directly controls the valve mechanism, allowing only condensate to drain. Thus, steam loss is prevented, energy is saved and the equipment in the line is protected.
