AYVAZ Flow Switch
AYVAZ Flow Switch Flow Switch 6" (168,3mm) is a reliable equipment that detects the flow of water in wet pipe fire extinguishing systems and provides information to control and alarm systems. This device, which is especially preferred in water sprinkler systems and foam fire extinguishing installations, detects that water starts to flow in the range of 4-10 gpm and sends a signal to the fire alarm panel. It meets high security standards thanks to its UL Listed and FM Approved structure.
Flow Switch Working Principle
Pedal type flow switch is activated by the movement of water through the pipe. When the flow starts, the pedal moves and transmits a signal to the fire alarm panel via the dry contact. In this way, the alarm is activated as soon as flow begins in the system and provides early intervention. The device is designed for use in wet pipe systems only.
