Galaxy Capacitive Level Electrode

This device utilizes the capacitance measurement principle to precisely measure levels in both conductive and non-conductive liquids.
The Capacitive Level Electrode is a device that operates on the principle of capacitance measurement and provides highly accurate level measurements. This transmitter is integrated into the electrode body, used to measure liquid levels. The device performs measurements by generating a standard 4-20 mA analog signal. This analog output can be monitored on the display located on the panel enclosure cover.
Working Principle of Capacitive Level Electrode
The Galaxy KP 01-F3R Capacitive Level Electrode operates on the principle of capacitance measurement. The electrode rod and tank wall form a capacitor. The capacitance value varies depending on the dielectric strength of the material between the plates, the area of the plates, and the distance between them. Because the area of the electrode and the tank wall is constant, the only variable is the dielectric properties of the material inside the tank. When the level of this dielectric changes, the current flowing between the plates changes proportionally. This principle allows liquid levels to be accurately measured and displayed on the display unit.
