Technical Information:
Trap Test Valve works on the ball valve principle. When the Steam Trap Test Valve is open, the system is active and the condensate discharged from the trap or steam leakage, if any, is directed to the condensate return line. When the valve is brought to the closed position, the discharge pipe of the valve is opened and thus the operating mode of the steam trap and any steam leakage are detected. In order to minimize the risk of error due to flash steam, it is recommended to connect the valve to the line at least half a meter from the steam trap.
