Manufactured with the engineering expertise of the Ayvaz brand, the KV-3 series wafer type butterfly valve delivers maximum performance in medium-sized pipelines with DN100 size and PN16 pressure rating. Thanks to a metal disc rotating around a vertically positioned shaft, this wafer type butterfly valve opens or closes the pipe cross-section quickly and precisely. Due to the combination of AISI 316 stainless steel disc and AISI 420 stainless steel shaft, this wafer type butterfly valve provides complete corrosion resistance and offers long service life in saltwater, acidic, or alkaline solutions. Reinforced with a GG-25 cast iron body, this wafer type butterfly valve demonstrates reliable operation at a maximum temperature of 130°C and working pressure PN16. With an H-EPDM elastomer seal material providing excellent tightness under high temperature and pressure, this wafer type butterfly valve also functions as a gasket when mounted between pipe flanges. Thanks to the wafer connection type, this wafer type butterfly valve is very lightweight and compact, easily fitting into tight spaces and speeding up installation.
