PTY-40 Working Principle of Y Type Strainer
PTY-40 Y Type Strainer captures foreign substances carried by fluids such as liquid, gas or steam passing through pipelines and removes them from the system. Rust, lime, welding slag and similar unwanted particles are retained by the filter element. In this way, damage to sensitive equipment such as pressure reducing valves, control valves, steam meters and steam traps is prevented. Using a strainer in front of each fixture is critical to maintaining the overall health of the system.
