The TDK-45 Thermodynamic Steam Trap's sealing section is made of stainless steel, while the body is made of forged steel C 22.8. These features ensure high durability and long life. The product operates safely and efficiently, provided that the back pressure does not exceed 80% of the front pressure under operating conditions. Capable of intermittent discharge depending on the condensate load, the TDK-45 provides easy maintenance, and all spare parts are readily available. The "Y"-type strainer is located under the body, making cleaning extremely easy.
Thermodynamic Steam Trap Working Principle
Thermodynamic Process: The TDK-45 operates using thermodynamic principles. Condensate, formed by the condensation of steam, causes pressure and temperature changes within the device. This creates changes in the moving disc (valve) inside the trap.
Disk Movement: The pressure drop in the steam system causes the disk to partially open under the weight of the condensate. This opening allows the condensate to be expelled. The disk is designed to release only the liquid condensate, preventing the passage of steam.
Automatic Adjustment: The disc automatically adjusts based on the pressure difference between steam and condensate. This minimizes steam leakage and increases energy efficiency. As steam pressure increases, the disc closes more tightly, allowing only condensate to pass through.
Strainer Feature: The TDK-45 model features a "Y"-type strainer located at the bottom of the body. This strainer retains solid particles in the condensate, ensuring cleaner system operation. The strainer is easy to clean.
