 The Ayvaz TDK-71 Thermodynamic Steam Trap offers long-lasting and durable use thanks to its stainless steel body and cover, along with its AISI 304-quality internal components. Equipped with a "Y"-type strainer, this model effectively drains condensation accumulated in pipelines. Its body is made of stainless steel casting, while its internal components are made of high-quality stainless steel. This combination ensures excellent resistance to harsh industrial conditions.
 It should preferably be installed horizontally, but can also be used in other positions. Ayvaz TDK-71 Thermodynamic Steam Traps must be installed appropriately in horizontal pipelines for efficient and long-term operation. Appropriate isolation valves should be installed to ensure safe maintenance and trap replacement.

Thermodynamic Steam Trap Working Principle
Steam Entry and Condensation: When steam enters the Thermodynamic Trap, it begins to condense inside. This process causes a temperature drop and pressure changes within the device.
 Closing Mechanism: When condensed steam turns into condensate, a disc inside the device closes under the pressure of the steam. This closure prevents the passage of steam, allowing only the condensate to escape.
 Opening the Disc: As condensate begins to accumulate, the pressure inside the device drops. This pressure drop allows the disc to reopen, allowing the accumulated condensate to drain. Once the condensate drain is complete, the disc closes again, preventing steam from escaping.
 Intermittent Drain: The TDK-71 model operates with an intermittent drain mechanism. This means the device activates when condensate accumulates and deactivates once the drain is complete. This feature increases energy efficiency and reduces system load.
 Back Pressure: For the Ayvaz TDK-71 to operate effectively, the back pressure in the system must not exceed 80% of the front pressure. If the back pressure exceeds this value, the trap may not close properly, resulting in a loss of system efficiency.
