KSB Betabloc 32-160 Centrifugal Pump Working Principle
KSB Betabloc 32-160 is a high-efficiency pump model that works on the Centrifugal Pump principle and is designed to transmit fluids at a certain speed and pressure. Centrifugal Pumps are machines with rotary motion that move the liquid using centrifugal force.
Inlet (Suction Stage):
The pump sucks the liquid in through the inlet flange.
Thanks to the pressure difference in the suction line, the liquid is directed to the inside of the pump.
Acceleration by Centrifugal Force:
The impeller (impeller) inside the pump rotates at high speed and provides kinetic energy to the liquid.
With the rotation of the wheel, the liquid accelerates by being thrown outwards from the center.
Pressure Conversion:
The liquid coming out of the impeller gains pressure while losing speed, thanks to the diffuser or volute body.
This conversion ensures efficient pressurization of the fluid.
Output (Pressurization Stage):
High pressure liquid is directed out of the outlet flange and transferred to the piping system.
Thus, the liquid is pumped to the required system (water treatment, industrial processes, cooling systems, etc.).
