Working Principle
Structure and Functioning
The AYVAZ KV-8 Single-Acting Pneumatic Actuated Lug Butterfly Valve with Nickel Clapper and EPDM Seal controls fluid flow using a rotating disc. The disc rotates around a shaft located in the center of the valve, which is usually located on the vertical axis. When fully open, the disc allows fluid to flow freely through the pipeline. When fully closed, it completely blocks fluid flow.

Opening Process

It is recommended to use reducer-type butterfly valves for all diameters. For butterfly valves DN350 and larger, only reducer-type butterfly valves are available.
During installation, check that the disc moves freely. The valve stem can be positioned horizontally or vertically, but horizontal installation is preferred for valves larger than DN300.
