Solenoid Valve – Powerful and Reliable Flow Control
The General Purpose Solenoid Valve, offered by ORFA Industrial Products Industry and Trade Inc., is a product that controls liquid and gas flow using electrical energy and can be safely used in modern industrial systems. Designed to control fluids such as water, air, oil, or gas, these valves stand out for their high performance and durability.
The coil, activated by the electric current, activates the mechanical part of the valve, opening or closing the flow. It is used in a wide variety of applications, particularly in automation and industrial applications, including water treatment, HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) systems, and pneumatic control mechanisms. Its durable construction and reliable performance help increase business efficiency.

Solenoid Valve Working Principle
Basic Working Mechanism of Solenoid Valve
Coil Electrification: A solenoid valve is electrically operated and is usually in a normally closed (NC) position. When an electric current is applied to the coil, a magnetic field is created within the coil.
Magnetic Field Generation : The resulting magnetic field moves a metal core (armature) inside the valve up or down. This movement causes the orifice (flow hole) in the valve body to open or close.
Solenoid Valve Flow Control: If the valve is normally closed, the orifice remains closed until an electric current is applied, preventing fluid flow. When an electric current is applied, the core moves and the orifice opens, allowing fluid to flow through the valve body. When the electric current is removed, the core returns to its original position and the orifice closes again, stopping flow.
Pilot Control Chamber: These valves use a small pilot hole and diaphragm. Before the electrical signal arrives, fluid in the line fills the top of the diaphragm, creating pressure. This pressure keeps the main orifice closed.
Valve Opening: When electricity is applied to the solenoid valve coil, the core moves upward, opening the pilot hole. This releases pressure on the diaphragm and lifts it. The main hole opens, allowing fluid to pass through the valve body.
Valve Closing: When the electric current is cut off, the core returns to its original position and the pilot hole closes. Fluid in the line fills the top of the diaphragm again, pushing it downward, and the main hole closes. This stops flow.
Solenoid Valve Usage Areas
Water Purification Systems: Provides flow control in clean water and wastewater treatment processes.
HVAC Systems: Regulates cooling and heating fluids in building air conditioning systems.
Pneumatic Control Systems: Precisely manage air flow in automation solutions.
Automation Systems: It is an ideal component for automatic control of gas or liquid flow in production processes.
Our durable and efficient solenoid valves maximize safety while increasing energy efficiency. These long-lasting, low-maintenance valves are designed to meet diverse industrial requirements. These innovative solutions from ORFA Industrial Products Industry and Trade Inc. help you improve your business's performance.
