Cutoff of Electric Current: When the electric current supplied to the coil is cut off, the magnetic field around the coil disappears. In this case, the magnetic force moving the core disappears and the spring system inside the valve comes into play. Thanks to the pushing force of the spring, the core returns to its original position and the valve closes. This closing action terminates the flow control in the system by stopping the passage of fluid through the valve.
