ECA Brass Horizontal Check Valve 1'' PN25 is designed to provide one-way flow control. It is a fixture. The disc or valve mechanism in the check valve automatically opens or closes depending on the flow direction.
When the liquid or gas in the system applies pressure towards the valve in the right direction (in the desired flow direction), the check valve cover moves upwards and allows flow. In this way, the fluid can pass freely without encountering any obstacles.
When the flow stops or the fluid applies pressure in the reverse direction, the check valve cover or disc mechanism automatically closes with the effect of spring force and reverse pressure. Thus, backflow is prevented and pumps, tanks or other equipment in the system are protected.
This automatic shut-off feature reduces the risk of backflow in the installation and increases the efficiency and safety of the system. Additionally, thanks to its mechanical design, there is no need for an external energy source or manual intervention.
