With a compact design and easy adjustment, this pressure switch detects pressure changes via an NBR/rubber diaphragm. Each pressure switch is adjustable in the range of 1-6 bar, with a differential adjustable between 0.9-2.5 bar. This prevents the pump from cycling frequently, extending its service life. The pressure switch operates on 220-250 V single-phase supply and can control motor power up to 4 kW. With IP44 protection class, the pressure switch is resistant to dust and water and is safely used in a temperature range of -5 to +80°C. This pressure switch, available from ORFA Industrial stock, provides 200,000 electrical cycles of trouble-free operation. Turning the pressure adjustment screw clockwise increases the on/off threshold pressure, and counterclockwise decreases it. The differential allows setting the desired difference between the on and off points, thus the pressure switch prevents frequent starting and stopping of the pump or compressor. The electrical contacts are normally closed (NC) and open the circuit when the threshold is exceeded. Using a pressure switch in your installation is critical for energy savings and system safety.
