Product Features:
The ARI-CONA-SC float steam trap features a design that allows for uninterrupted, backpressure-free condensate discharge, even at varying volumes and high pressures. The automatic air release mechanism integrated with the controller effectively removes air and gases from the system. This steam trap, resistant to water hammer, functions as a check valve thanks to its integrated backflow protection. It also offers connection and bypass options for the recovery line.
The central orifice design allows the steam trap to be used in either a vertical or horizontal position. Simply separate the cover and body, rotate the body 90°, and re-bolt. The controller can be replaced without any piping modifications.

Working Principle:
Condensate Inlet and Discharge: The basic operating principle of the ARI-CONA-SC steam trap is the continuous and uninterrupted discharge of condensate at the points where steam condenses. This steam trap instantly discharges the condensate formed by the condensation of steam, preventing unwanted water accumulation in steam systems.
Float Mechanism: The float inside the steam trap rises when the condensate level increases, opening the drain valve. When the condensate level drops, the float lowers, closing the drain valve. This mechanism ensures the continuous drainage of condensate from the system.
Thermostatic Capsule: The ARI-CONA-SC steam trap is equipped with a thermostatic capsule mechanism. This mechanism automatically evacuates air and gases from the system. The thermostatic capsule contains an element sensitive to temperature changes, which allows air and gases to be evacuated. This prevents air pockets and gas accumulation in the system.
Backflow Protection: The steam trap's integrated backflow protection mechanism functions as a check valve. This mechanism prevents reverse flow in the system and contributes to the safe and efficient operation of the steam trap.
