What is an Ionization Electrode and What Does It Do?
The ionization electrode serves the purpose of flame control (flame control). A flame is a material that conducts electricity through ionized gas particles formed by combustion. The electrode detects the current (ionization current) created by these ionized gases.
Main Functions of Ionization Electrode:
Flame Detection: Continuously checks the presence of flame and sends a signal to the burner brain.
Safety Shutdown: If the flame goes out (flame failure), the power supply is immediately cut off. This causes the control unit to automatically cut off the fuel supply and lock out the system. This prevents the accumulation of dangerous unburned gases .
Continuous Combustion: Continuously confirms that combustion is ongoing to reduce fuel waste and emissions.
Properties of Ionization Electrode:
