KSB ISORIA Reducer Butterfly Valve DN300
KSB ISORIA Reducer Butterfly Valve DN300: Reliable Flow Control in Large Diameter Lines
The KSB ISORIA Butterfly Valve series is a center-disc butterfly valve solution designed for the control and shut-off of fluids (water, cooling circuits, heating lines, seawater) in industrial and building engineering applications. With its large nominal diameter of DN300 (12") , this valve is used in high-flow lines.
What is KSB ISORIA Reducer Butterfly Valve DN300?
This product configuration combines KSB's Wafer type butterfly valve body, manual reducer control system and standard sealing materials:
Wafer Type: The valve is installed by compressing it like a sandwich between two flanges in the pipeline.
With reducer: For large diameters such as DN300, the valve is equipped with a reducer (gearbox) for easy opening and closing by lever force and precise position adjustment.
Cast Iron Valve: The valve disc is made of Cast Iron (usually Ductile Iron GGG-40.3 or cast iron) material, which offers high mechanical strength and long life.
EPDM Seal: Sealing is achieved with an EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) seal, an elastomeric liner. EPDM seals are ideal for water and neutral fluids and typically operate in temperature ranges from -10°C to +110°C (up to 130°C, depending on the model).
Key Features and Advantages of the KSB ISORIA Reducer Butterfly Valve
Wide Application Area: Used in sectors such as water supply, water treatment, drainage, irrigation, heating/cooling (HVAC) and fire extinguishing.
Reliable Sealing: Thanks to the spherical machined valve disc and the elastomer liner compatible with the disc, perfect sealing is ensured in the shaft passage.
Explosion-Proof Shaft: Thanks to its special design that prevents the shaft from coming into contact with the fluid, sealing is ensured even if the actuator is disassembled.
No Need for Flange Gasket: Thanks to the elastomer liner design, there is no need to use an additional sealing gasket between the valve and the flanges.
Suitable Control for DN300: Reducer structure provides easy and precise manual control even in a large diameter such as DN300.
