Nozbart U-Pvc Adhesive Socket Ball Valve Acid DN 32
Nozbart U-PVC Adhesive Socket Ball Valve (Acid) DN 32: Reliable Control for Corrosive Fluids
When controlling liquid flow in industrial facilities is necessary, especially when corrosive chemicals (acids, bases) are present, valve material is crucial. The Nozbart U-PVC Glued Socket Ball Valve (Acid) DN 32 is a chemically resistant, lightweight, and reliable flow control solution designed to meet these stringent requirements.
This valve, which stands out with the superior chemical resistance of the "U-PVC" material and the ease of "glue socket" connection, is ideal for medium-sized lines with its DN 32 (32 mm) nominal diameter.
What is a Nozbart U-PVC Ball Valve and What Does It Do?
The Nozbart U-PVC ball valve is a quarter-turn (90-degree) valve type with a perforated sphere (ball). This sphere is housed within a U-PVC body. The "glue socket" connection allows the valve to be easily and leak-proofly installed on PVC pipes using a special adhesive (solvent cement).
Main Features and Advantages:
Superior Chemical Resistance: U-PVC (Unaplasticized Polyvinyl Chloride) offers excellent corrosion resistance to acids, bases, and many industrial chemicals. This makes it suitable for use in applications where metal valves pose a risk of rust or corrosion.
Fast, Full-Bore Flow: Flow is instantly controlled by the 90-degree movement of the sphere. The full-bore design generally results in virtually no pressure loss during fluid flow.
Lightweight and Easy to Install: The lightweight construction of U-PVC makes the valves much easier to handle and install than metal valves. The glued socket connection significantly reduces installation time and costs.
Reliable Sealing: Thanks to quality seals (EPDM or FPM/Viton) and precise workmanship, sealing problems are reduced to a minimum.
Wide Application Area: With its DN 32 (1 1/4 inch) size, it is used in many areas such as water treatment, chemical dosing, pool systems and industrial acid lines.
Low Maintenance: Corrosion resistant material and simple mechanical structure ensure that the valve offers long life and low maintenance operation.
Areas of Use:
Chemical Industry: Flow control in acid and corrosive chemical lines.
Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants: Chlorination, disinfection and other chemical dosing processes.
Galvanizing and Surface Treatment Plants: Liquid transfer in acid baths.
Pool and SPA Systems: Control of chlorine and other pool chemicals.
Pharmaceutical and Food Industry: Certain applications that are not hygienic but require corrosion resistance.
