Glycerin Manometer with Bottom Connection Working Principle:

The Bottom Connection Glycerin Manometer provides a reliable and precise method for pressure measurement. The working principle of this manometer is based on the deformation of an element called the Bourdon tube. During pressure measurement, the process fluid connected to the manometer enters the Bourdon tube and causes the tube to change shape.

Bourdon Tube and Deformation Principle: Bourdon tube is a hollow and elastic tube bent in a C shape inside the manometer. When this tube is filled with the pressure to be measured, internal pressure applies force to the surface of the tube, causing the tube to expand into a flatter shape. This deformation occurs in proportion to the increase in pressure.

Motion Mechanism and Pointer Movement: The deformation of the Bourdon tube activates a gear mechanism attached to the free end of the tube. This mechanism translates the deformation of the tube into a rotary motion and this motion is transmitted to the needle on the front face of the manometer. The needle shows the pressure values ​​on the dial. In this way, the pressure value created by the fluid can be read on the dial.
