The pressure gauge section uses a mechanical system called a Bourdon tube for pressure measurement. A Bourdon tube consists of a hollow, usually C-shaped metal tube. The device uses this tube to sense the pressure applied to the system.
Pressure Sensing: The Bourdon tube, which is connected to the system from the lower connection point of the device, senses the pressure of the liquid or gas passing through it. As the pressure increases, the shape of the tube begins to flatten slightly.
Transmission of Movement: This change in shape in the tube is transmitted to the indicator needle of the manometer through a mechanism. This mechanism usually consists of gear wheels and connecting rods.
