The Watts SOL15/N (0248415) is an engineering marvel designed for extreme operating conditions, exceeding the limits of standard automatic air vents. While classic vents deform at around 110-115°C, this special model performs at full capacity up to 160°C and an operating pressure of 12 bar .
Especially in closed-loop solar energy systems with vacuum tubes or selective copper panels, its internal components do not melt at the high temperatures generated, it performs its function perfectly by evacuating air from the system and eliminating the risk of cavitation.
Why Use a High Temperature Air Purge?
Temperatures in the primary circuits of solar energy systems can easily reach levels of 150°C.
