Jet pumps are specialized surface pumps that can draw and discharge water even if air is present in the system, thanks to their self-priming technology. Their jet injector structures tolerate air bubbles in the suction line, ensuring stable operation. These features make them one of the most preferred pump types for well water extraction, garden irrigation, and small booster systems.

Operating Principle

Jet pumps accelerate water with an impeller and provide self-priming by lowering the pressure in the suction line through a venturi-injector system. This allows the pump to perform suction even when air is present in the fluid. Their suction performance is higher compared to standard centrifugal pumps.
