Head Type Thermocouple is a type of thermocouple used in industrial temperature measurement. Essentially, a thermocouple is a temperature sensor created by joining two dissimilar metals. When the junction of these two metals heats up, a voltage (electromotive force) is produced and this voltage is converted into temperature, allowing measurement. Head Type Thermocouple, as the name suggests, is equipped with a "head" that protects the thermocouple elements and is used for connections.
