Working Principle
Pressure Detection:
Dry Type Manometer with Back Connection detects the pressure of the process fluid through the connection point at the bottom. This fluid transmits the pressure in the pipe or line connected to the manometer to the pressure organ inside the manometer.
Deformation of Bourdon Tube:
There is usually a Bourdon tube inside the product. This tube is a metal tube of oval cross-section with a circular shape. Process pressure acts on the inner surface of this tube. As the pressure increases, the circular shape of the tube begins to flatten and this deformation is transmitted to the internal mechanism of the manometer. This deformation of the tube translates into a linear motion.
Movement of the Mechanism:
Deformation of the Bourdon tube activates a gear mechanism attached to the tube. This gear mechanism converts the linear motion of the tube into a rotary motion. The rotary movement moves the needle on the dial of the manometer.
Pressure Display:
The needle moves on the dial of the manometer and shows the current pressure. The dial is marked according to pressure units, and the value shown by the needle informs the user how much the process pressure is. In dry type manometers, the indication on the dial remains accurate and stable without being affected by vibrations.
