Expansion Tank Working Principle
NEMA NEX Expansion Tank works thanks to a high quality membrane that separates the water and gas chamber inside. As the volume of water in the system changes, pressure changes in the gas chamber allow water to return to the system or be stored. Thus, the system pressure is always kept stable and possible damage caused by expansion is prevented. Using the fill valve at the top of the tank, the pressure in the gas chamber can be easily adjusted to achieve optimum performance. No additional energy source, pump or compressor is required; It is a completely passive and smart solution.
