Float Steam Trap Working Principle
The steam trap, which works on the float principle, sensitively detects level changes in the condensate. Condensate coming to the steam line lifts the float inside the body. Thanks to the drain mechanism opened by the float movement, condensate and air are safely discharged. When the steam passes, the float lowers, the valve closes and the discharge of the steam is prevented. In this way, the energy efficiency of the system is maintained and process safety is increased.
