Safety Valve Working Principle
Full lift safety valves are spring-loaded when the pressure in the system exceeds the determined setting value. It is activated by opening the mechanism. In this way, the pressure is quickly relieved and damage to the system is prevented. When the pressure returns to normal, the disc closes to the seating surface again thanks to the spring force and the flow is interrupted. This automatic start-up and shut-down feature ensures continuous safety in the process.
