Ayvaz AELC09 Stainless Level Electrode 1/2''
Ayvaz AELC09 Stainless Steel Conductivity Type Level Electrode 1/2'': Safe Water Level Control in Boilers
The Ayvaz AELC09 Stainless Steel Conductivity Level Electrode is a sensor designed for electronic liquid level control in industrial processes such as steam boilers, pressurized water tanks, and condensate tanks. This electrode uses the electrical conductivity of the liquid to generate level information and automatically trigger pumps, valves, or alarm systems.
What is a Conductivity Type Level Electrode and How Does It Work?
Conductivity-type level electrodes operate on the principle of liquid conductivity. The electrode completes an electrical circuit between the tank body (soil) and the electrode tip via the conductive liquid. When the liquid level drops, the circuit is interrupted; when it rises, the circuit is completed. This on-off signal is transmitted to a control unit, providing automatic level management.
Key Features and Advantages of Ayvaz AELC09:
Model and Material: Level Electrode is made of highly corrosion resistant AISI 304 Stainless Steel . The connecting piece is also made of stainless steel.
Resistance: Resistant to a maximum working pressure of 16 bar and a maximum working temperature of 160 ºC . This makes the product suitable for medium-pressure steam boilers.
Insulation: The Level Electrode body is insulated using PTFE (Teflon) insulating material which offers superior dielectric and heat resistance.
Connection: It can be easily mounted on standard process lines or boiler level indicator columns with a 1/2'' threaded connection.
Precise Control: It keeps the boiler water level stable by precisely managing the Start/Stop commands of the boiler feed water pumps.
Long-Lasting: Resistant to corrosion and scaling thanks to the combination of stainless steel and PTFE.
Level Electrode Usage Areas:
Steam Boilers: Feed water level control and safety locking.
Hot Water Boilers: Monitoring the water level.
Condensate Tanks: Control of return water level.
Other Conductive Liquid Tanks: Industrial processes where automatic level control is required.
