In steam boilers, when the water cannot be properly treated or as a result of continuous steam production, the density of insoluble substances in the water (TDS) increases. This can lead to corrosion in the boiler and steam lines, scale accumulation and equipment failure, resulting in energy loss and reduced system efficiency. The process of removing these undesirable substances (usually calcium and magnesium salts) from the boiler water is called "Blowing" .
AYVAZ DBV-10 Automatic Boiler Bottom Blowdown System , especially the undesirable solids that settle to the bottom of the boiler water. Designed for evacuation of substances. This system consists of a timer, a complete stainless steel three-piece ball valve with actuator, pneumatic actuator and solenoid valve . It eliminates the need for manual intervention by automatically performing the bottom blowdown system operation at set time intervals. Regular evacuation of sediment and pollutants formed in the boiler increases boiler efficiency and reduces the risk of overheating.
