Level Indicator Technical Information:
The Reflex Glass Level Indicator is resistant to a maximum operating pressure of 16 bar and a temperature of 250°C. Optional models are available for operating pressures up to 40 bar when needed. The GG-25 cast iron valve body and carbon steel base ensure the longevity and durability of these indicators.

Reflex Glass Level Indicators use the different refractive properties of light in liquid and gas phases to determine level. This type of indicator operates using reflex glass technology. The basic principle of this technology is that the liquid and vapor phases appear with different brightnesses in the reflex glass.
Working Principle Details:
Reflex Glass Technology: The glass used in reflex glass level indicators contains prismatic grooves on its inner surface. These grooves cause light to refract and reflect at different angles. These prismatic structures on the inner surface of the glass utilize the refractive and reflective properties of light in liquid and gas phases to determine level.
Refraction and Reflection of Light:
Liquid Phase: When light in the liquid hits the glass surface, it is absorbed and there is no reflection back. Therefore, reflex glass in the liquid phase appears dark.
Gas Phase: Light in a gas or vapor is reflected when it hits the glass surface. This reflection gives the glass a bright and clear appearance. Reflex glass in the vapor or gas phase takes on a shiny appearance.
Level Determination: These different brightness levels on the reflective glass allow operators to easily and quickly determine the liquid level. The transition between liquid and gas phases is clearly observed, enabling accurate and reliable level measurement.
