Ayvaz Stainless Steel Foam Water Nozzle: Reliable Extinguishing for Chemical and Corrosive Environments
The AYVAZ Stainless Steel Foam Water Nozzle (HD Models) is an extinguishing nozzle that creates a foamy water solution by sucking in air, particularly in high-risk areas where chemical and corrosive environments and flammable liquids are present. Its stainless steel construction provides superior resistance to salt water and chemicals.
What is a Stainless Steel Foam Water Nozzle and What Does It Do?
This air-aspirating foam water nozzle is activated in under-ceiling systems in the event of a fire in installations. Its primary function is to mix water and foam concentrate to create an effective foam layer that quickly covers the flammable liquid surface, followed by a standard sprinkler spray pattern.
Foam Water Nozzle Features and Advantages:
Material: Made of corrosion and chemically resistant Stainless Steel 316 (Model F1) or Bronze. Surface finish is natural stainless steel.
Design and Approval: Pendent or Upright mounting types are available. Pendent models are UL Listed and FM Approved .
Connection Diameter: Standard connection is 1/2″ BSPT / NPT thread.
Pressure Range: Maximum working pressure is 12 bar (175 PSI) . Effective working pressure range is 2.1 bar (30 PSI) minimum to 4.2 bar (60 PSI) maximum .
K Factor: It has a K-factor of Km-42 (K-2.95) as standard.
Performance: Discharges approximately 61 lpm (litres/minute) of water/foam solution at 2.1 bar pressure.
Application Compatibility: Open nozzle suitable for use in NFPA 16/11 foam-water sprinkler systems.
Foam Water Nozzle Usage Areas:
This Foam Water Nozzle is used in areas where flammable liquid (Class B) fire hazards exist and corrosion resistance is important:
Aircraft hangars and solvent storage areas
Chemical storage and processing facilities
Large warehouses storing flammable liquids
Generator (DG Set) rooms
