Steam Trap Control Body Definition and Working Principle
The Ayvaz T-KON 20 Steam Trap Control Body is designed to detect steam leaks in an operating steam trap. It is designed for use only in saturated steam applications. The body includes a sensor that distinguishes the conductivity difference between steam and condensate.
Visual Signal: A handheld control device (sold separately) that can be connected to this body emits a "green" light signal when condensate is passing through and a "red" light signal when steam is passing through. This allows the operator to easily determine if there is a leak in the trap.
Energy Saving: Prevents energy waste caused by steam escaping from the steam trap by detecting it early.
