Pressure Switch Working Principle
1. Pressure Monitoring
A pressure switch is installed in the delivery manifold of systems such as a water pump or hydrophore. The water or air pressure in the system is transmitted to the sensor section of the switch. This pressure acts on the spring mechanism inside the pressure switch.
2. Spring Contact Mechanism

When the pressure exceeds the upper limit, the contacts open, stopping the pump. This automatic start-stop mechanism ensures that the system operates consistently within the desired pressure range.
4. Differential Adjustment
Pressure switches typically feature a differential setting. This setting determines the difference between the switch's opening and closing pressures. The minimum-maximum differential range can be adjusted to suit the system's requirements.
