Head Type Thermocouple is a type of thermocouple used in industrial temperature measurement. Essentially, a thermocouple is a temperature sensor created by joining two dissimilar metals. When the junction of these two metals heats up, a voltage (electromotive force) is produced and this voltage is converted into temperature, allowing measurement. Head Type Thermocouple, as the name suggests, is equipped with a "head" that protects the thermocouple elements and is used for connections. This head is usually made of metal or hard plastic and allows signals from the measurement point to be securely combined and protected before being transmitted to control panels or measuring devices.
