Function: The Dungs Gas Regulator operates on the force comparison principle. The adjustable output pressure spring works effectively with the differential pressure across the operating diaphragm and the weight of the moving parts. The adjustment spring, acting in conjunction with the weight of the moving parts, precisely adjusts the output pressure.

Contamination Protection: The pressure regulator must be protected by a suitable dirt trap.
Mounting Location: The mounting location of the adjustment spring must not be exposed to flammable gases or flammable gas-air mixtures.
Device Pre-selection: The pressure drop across blocked pressure regulators is determined using the volume flow - pressure gradient characteristic curve of the mechanically open pressure regulators. The maximum volume flow Vmax in conjunction with the pressure gradient between the inlet pressure p1 and the regulator outlet pressure p2 determines the nominal diameter of the pressure regulator.
