A lug-type butterfly valve is a type of valve with threaded holes (lugs) on both sides of its body. This design secures the valve between two flanges with bolts and offers its most significant advantage:
Easy Maintenance and End-of-Line Isolation: Lug-type butterfly valves can be bolted to a single flange and used as end-of-line blanking valves . This allows one side of the line to remain pressurized while the other is disconnected.
Durable Structure: The body is generally produced from materials such as GGG40 Ductile Iron or GG25 Gray Cast Iron (Iron Casting).
