Working Principle of the Bottom-Link Glycerin Pressure Gauge:

The Bottom-Connected Glycerin Manometer offers a reliable and precise method for pressure measurement. The operating principle of this manometer is based on the deformation of an element called a Bourdon tube. During pressure measurement, the process fluid connected to the manometer enters the Bourdon tube, causing it to deform.

Bourdon Tube and Deformation Principle: A Bourdon tube is a hollow, elastic tube coiled in a C shape inside a pressure gauge. When this tube is filled with the pressure to be measured, the internal pressure exerts a force on the surface of the tube, causing it to expand towards a flatter shape. This deformation occurs proportionally to the increase in pressure.

Mechanism of Motion and Pointer Movement: The deformation of the Bourdon tube activates a gear mechanism attached to the free end of the tube. This mechanism rotates the deformation of the tube, and this movement is transmitted to the pointer on the front of the manometer. The pointer displays the pressure values on the dial. In this way, the pressure value created by the fluid can be read from the dial.
