Working Principle of Glycerin Manometer with Lower Connection:
The Bottom Mount Glycerin Manometer offers a reliable and accurate method for measuring pressure. Its operating principle is based on the deformation of a component called a Bourdon tube. During pressure measurement, the process fluid connected to the manometer enters the Bourdon tube, causing it to deform.
Bourdon Tube and Deformation Principle: A Bourdon tube is a hollow, elastic tube bent into a C-shape inside a manometer. When the tube is filled with the pressure to be measured, the internal pressure exerts a force on the tube's surface, causing it to expand into a flatter shape. This deformation occurs in proportion to the increase in pressure.
Movement Mechanism and Pointer Movement: The deformation of the Bourdon tube activates a gear mechanism attached to the free end of the tube. This mechanism translates the tube's deformation into a rotary motion, which is transmitted to the needle on the face of the manometer. The needle indicates the pressure values on the dial. This allows the pressure generated by the fluid to be read from the dial.
Advantages of Glycerin-Filled Structure: The glycerin filling inside the manometer plays a crucial role, particularly in environments subject to vibration and impact. By surrounding the Bourdon tube and the movement mechanism, the glycerin dampens the movement of these components and reduces the negative effects of vibration. This extends the life of the measuring device and makes needle movements more stable and accurate. Furthermore, the glycerin filling minimizes temporary reading errors that can occur due to sudden pressure changes.
Pressure Range and Accuracy: The Glycerin Manometer with Lower Connection is capable of operating over a wide pressure range. With an accuracy class of CL 2.5, this manometer can provide precise measurements to a maximum of 75% of the full scale value. This accuracy ensures reliable results, especially in applications requiring precise measurement.
Areas of Use:
Air Conditioners: Provides reliable measurement in compressed air systems.
Compressed Air Lines: Increases the safety of systems by accurately monitoring air pressure.
Healthcare Devices: Used in medical devices where precise pressure measurements are critical.
Hydraulic Systems: Ideal for monitoring the pressure of hydraulic fluids.
Heating Systems: Provides pressure control in heating systems.
Water Pumps and Circulation Systems: Provide a reliable solution to ensure that water circulates smoothly in pressurized lines.
With its robust construction, wide compatibility and precise measurement capacity, this manometer offers top-level performance even in the harsh conditions of industrial environments.
