Pulse Solenoid Valve – Powerful Performance and Superior Technology
ORFA Industrial distinguishes itself with its Pulse Valves, developed for the efficient and reliable management of industrial processes. These Pulse Valves, specifically designed for shock and shake-out operations, operate with high-pressure air. The 90-degree angle of the inlet and outlet connections delivers a rapid and powerful pulse of air. This feature allows the Pulse Valve to achieve excellent results in industrial cleaning systems and dust collection applications.
The Pulse Valve uses energy only when necessary, delivering a high pulse of compressed air over a very short period of time, and this process is repeated at regular intervals. It does not operate continuously, thus minimizing energy consumption and system wear.

Pulse Valve Working Principle
Control Mechanism with Diaphragm Structure
Pulse valves have a diaphragm structure. This diaphragm is one of the valve's most important components, controlling compressed air flow. Located inside the valve, between the inlet and outlet connections, the diaphragm regulates the valve's opening and closing. Pulse solenoid valves are typically manufactured with either a single diaphragm or a double diaphragm.
Single Diaphragm Pulse Valves: The single diaphragm design, used in valves with 3/4" and 1" connection sizes, is ideal for small and medium-sized applications.
Double Diaphragm Pulse Valves: Double diaphragm valves are preferred for larger connection sizes such as 1 1/2" and 2". The double diaphragm design allows the valve to respond faster and operate more efficiently, which is especially advantageous in larger systems.
Quick Cleaning with Air Pulse
When energized, pulse valves switch from normally closed to open, delivering compressed air in a high-velocity, short-duration pulse. This pulse shakes dust accumulated in the filters in dust collection systems, allowing the system to be cleaned. When energized, pulse valves open rapidly and then close again shortly thereafter. Even when the power flow continues, the valve does not remain open continuously, allowing for a pulsed flow of air. Therefore, by operating the valve at regular intervals, energy savings are achieved.
Pilot-Controlled Operating System
Pulse valves operate with a pilot-operated system. The pilot control is an auxiliary valve mechanism that controls the main diaphragm inside the valve. This mechanism ensures the main valve opens and closes quickly and reliably. The pilot-operated system allows the valves to operate effectively with low energy consumption, even at large sizes.
Reliable Performance at High Pressure
Pulse valves can operate safely in operating pressures ranging from 0.5 to 8 bar. This wide pressure range allows the valves to be used seamlessly in a variety of industrial applications. The aluminum body and stainless steel shell-core materials ensure long-lasting operation and high durability.
Energy Efficiency and Control
One of the most significant advantages of pulse valves is their energy efficiency. These valves deliver compressed air in short bursts only when needed, preventing unnecessary energy consumption. They also reduce maintenance costs by preventing system overload and premature component wear.
Areas of Use
Pulse valves are widely used in a variety of industrial applications, particularly in dust collection and filtration systems. They are ideal for dust control and cleaning operations in the cement, ceramics, paint, feed, thermal power plants, concrete plants, detergent, glass, and iron and steel industries. They are used in bag filter (jet filter) systems to shake dust or prevent dust accumulated in hoppers from solidifying. This extends equipment life and reduces maintenance costs.
The Pulse Valves sold by ORFA Industrial provide high performance and efficiency in industrial filtration systems and dust removal applications. With their durable construction, high-quality manufacturing, and wide range of applications, they provide the reliable solutions businesses need. Pulse Valves are an ideal choice for minimizing dust accumulation and blockage problems in industrial facilities.
