The VALFTEK® VTC Pneumatic ON/OFF Control Valve DN50 PN16 is a globe-type pneumatic control valve with flange connection, designed to provide fast and safe on/off control of fluids in industrial process lines. Equipped with a spring-loaded diaphragm pneumatic actuator, this model provides high reliability in applications requiring precise opening and complete closing in process lines with its ON/OFF operating principle . It offers long-lasting and safe use in applications involving water, hot water, steam, compressed air, hot oil, and similar industrial fluids.
Product Operating Principle
The valve operates using air pressure applied to a pneumatic actuator. In this configuration, the actuator is reverse-acting . When air pressure is applied, the valve opens ; when the air pressure is cut off, the spring force engages, closing the valve. This design provides a safe shut-off feature that ensures process safety in case of air or power loss.
