Lift Type Check Valve Working Principle
VALFTEK Lift Type Check Valve is a valve type designed to pass the flow in one direction only and prevent backflow in fluid systems. In this system called “lift type”, the pressure generated during the forward movement of the fluid lifts the valve disc in the internal mechanism upwards, allowing passage.
When the flow stops or a reverse pressure occurs, the disc closes downwards thanks to the spring force and prevents the line from being damaged by back flow. In this way, pumps, boilers or other sensitive equipment in the installation are protected.
DN150 and above models' bearing disc design ensures that the disc operates in a more balanced and vibration-free manner. This means less wear, longer service life and low maintenance.
With the soft sealing option, the risk of leakage is minimized and a safe seal is ensured. The check valve can be mounted in a horizontal or vertical position, thus adding flexibility to system designs.
