Classic Automatic Air Vents are generally used in 90-70 heating systems, and their internal structure is made of material resistant to temperatures up to 110°C. This resistance makes them ideal for heating systems. However, temperatures in closed-circuit solar energy systems, in particular, can reach 150°C. At this temperature, the internal components of classic air vents melt, rendering them ineffective. In solar energy systems equipped with selectively surfaced vacuum glass tubes or selective copper flat panels, a high-temperature-resistant Automatic Air Vent must be used. The internal structure of the air vent can withstand temperatures up to 160°C.
Considering the potential need for maintenance or replacement of the automatic air vent, a check valve or ball valve should be installed immediately below the vent. This allows maintenance or replacement without draining the system. A check valve is optionally included with this product.
