Direct Acting Pressure Reducer Working Principle
AGD-30 works with a spring mechanism and diaphragm system that controls the difference between the inlet pressure and outlet pressure. The incoming pressure is balanced against the spring force and thus the desired output pressure is precisely adjusted. It works stably even under sudden pressure fluctuations.
In cases where a pressure reduction of more than 10/1 is required, it is recommended to use two valves connected in series.
For safer and more efficient results, it is recommended to add a steam separator to the inlet line and a safety valve to the outlet line.
