Disco check valves (wafer type check valves) are the most compact valve type designed to prevent backflow in piping systems. The internal spring-loaded disc pushes against the seat as soon as flow stops, minimizing water hammer and noise. Their very short face-to-face length ensures minimum footprint and lower installation costs.
