What is it: Safety Valves are automatic relief valves that protect the line and secure the system in case of overpressure.
How it works: When the preset opening pressure is exceeded, the spring force is released to open the valve, reducing the pressure in the line to a safe level. It automatically closes when the pressure returns to normal.
Where to Use: It is widely preferred in steam boilers, hot water lines, compressor outlets, process pressure vessels and heating systems.
Dimensions: Valves are manufactured in sizes ranging from DN15 to DN100 and can be in the PN16 to PN40 pressure class, depending on the type. Body, disc, and spring materials are selected based on process conditions.
